Chinooks
Above freezing by afternoon
Along this stretch of Highway 2, chinook winds can take the temperature from well below freezing to well above it within hours, then the cold returns. Snow on the roof melts and freezes again, and gusts work at shingle tabs. The panels interlock along every edge, the fasteners sit out of sight, and wind resistance is warranted to 193 km/h (120 mph) installed to manufacturer specification.
